With the 2026 Nissan Leaf S+, we see an increased battery output to 75 kWh, resulting in an improved range of 303 miles between charges. Still housed within a single motor chassis, the FWD Nissan Leaf S+ trim sees an increase in horsepower at 214 and pound-feet of torque at 261 over the base S model.

With the larger battery pack (75 kWh), charging times increase to approximately 11 hours for a 240-volt Level 2 charger, while DC fast-charging will add 180 miles of range in under 40 minutes of charging.

Additional upgrades include two interior 12.3-inch digital displays providing instant access to entertainment and navigation. While the 2026 Nissan Leaf S+ essentially carries over all the same features of the base model S trim, the increase in battery output and upgraded displays are the most important upgrades.

The 2026 Nissan Leaf SV+ carries over all the previous trims’ best features while increasing the interior displays in both size and function. Battery output and range remain unchanged. However, owners will have access to two larger 14.3-inch digital easy touch displays with built-in Google services. Additional upgrades include upgraded upholstery, a larger, 6-speaker sound system, and larger 18-inch alloy wheels.

The 2026 Nissan Leaf Platinum+ is for those Nissan Lake Country customers who must have it all. While the exterior sees an increase in wheel size to 19-inch aluminum-alloy wheels, it’s ultimately the interior upgrades that will have customers most excited.

Customers will marvel at a panoramic glass roof with impressive dimming features. This is then combined with a much-improved Bose Personal® Plus 10-speaker system and driver-facing, heads-up display (HUD) with multicolor projection on the windshield. With more luxurious fabric and trim, seating is instantly upgraded alongside heated rear and front seats. Finally, an acoustic laminated windshield results in a much quieter cabin.
